🧭 Role Summary:
The Network Coordinator serves as the operational and engagement lead for the Supply Chain Industry Network. This individual is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the network, managing volunteer teams, supporting member engagement, and ensuring the effective delivery of programs, events, and onboarding processes.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
🗂️ Volunteer Oversight & Coordination
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers across different functional roles (onboarding, events, content, technical support, etc.)
Assign responsibilities and monitor volunteer performance and availability
Conduct monthly check-ins with volunteer leads to ensure alignment with SCIN goals
🤝 Member Engagement & Onboarding
Oversee and facilitate the onboarding of new members
Ensure onboarding materials and platform links are up to date
Coordinate with onboarding volunteers to assign newcomers for peer introductions
Track new member engagement and follow-ups
🧑🏫 Event & Program Support
Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing virtual events and info sessions
Coordinate with event hosts, moderators, and speakers
Ensure proper documentation, feedback collection, and follow-up from events
📢 Communications & Digital Platforms
Ensure timely updates and posts on WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Mighty Network, and other platforms
Support the distribution of email campaigns, newsletters, and registration messages
Monitor group conversations to ensure adherence to community guidelines

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Project Management, Nonprofit Management, or related fields
Experience with community engagement, event coordination, or volunteer management

Familiarity with tools like Zoom, Google Workspace, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and basic CMS systems
Experience working with newcomer or professional communities is an asset
Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse virtual team

2. Outreach & Engagement
Build relationships with community stakeholders, industry associations, and media partners to expand SCIN’s reach.
Promote events and programs to attract new members and partners.
Support volunteer recruitment and member onboarding through targeted outreach campaigns.
3. Content Creation & Management
Coordinate with Content & Community Contributors to publish engaging articles, posts, and updates.
Draft press releases, event highlights, and success stories.
Manage visual and written content for marketing and communications materials.
4. Member Engagement Support
Respond to public and member inquiries on various platforms.
Encourage participation in discussions, polls, and events.
Facilitate communication between the leadership team and members.
5. Monitoring & Reporting

Role Summary:
The Event Host & Moderator plays a key role in delivering an engaging and professional experience during SCIN’s virtual events, onboarding sessions, and networking activities.
This individual is responsible for welcoming attendees, guiding event flow, introducing speakers, managing time, facilitating audience engagement, and ensuring a positive and inclusive environment throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Facilitation:
Serve as the primary host during online events, including newcomer welcome sessions, informational webinars, and weekly networking meetups.
Agenda Management:
Ensure the session runs according to schedule and transitions smoothly between agenda items and speakers.
Speaker Introduction & Engagement:
Introduce speakers/presenters professionally, manage Q&A sessions, and support audience interaction through polls, chats, and breakout rooms.
Community Building:
Create a welcoming environment for all attendees, encouraging interaction, introductions, and respectful dialogue.
Tech & Platform Coordination:
Collaborate with Technical Support to ensure Zoom/LinkedIn Live sessions start and run smoothly; troubleshoot minor technical issues during events.
Follow-Up & Feedback:
Help collect feedback after sessions, share highlights with the Communications Team, and suggest improvements for future sessions.
Qualifications:
Strong verbal communication and public speaking skills
Confidence hosting virtual events and managing diverse groups
